Tweed :: Boucle jacket & Tall boots

by wendy

Hi everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Mystery Man and I had a rather frustrating weekend.  We spent the last 5 days planning and working on a new project.  After filming for 8 hours to produce 32 seconds worth of footage, we were unhappy with the results.  We basically scrapped the whole thing and now starting over.  To be honest with you, both of us are perfectionists at heart, so we’re very uncomfortable creating work that we are not 110% satisfied with.  Today is the start of a brand new week, so hopefully we can overcome the challenges and finish the project soon =)

I’ve been lusting for a tweed jacket for a very long time now.  Over the last 3 years, I’ve ordered 4 different tweed jackets and have returned them all.  They were either too short, too thin, or lackluster in design.  A few weeks ago, my dear friend Jean from ExtraPetite did a thorough review of this tweed jacket.  After reading her review, I immediately ordered the jacket and bombarded her with text messages asking about the size, fit, and quality.   A Chanel tweed jacket is definitely on my wishlist, but for now, I love how warm and fun this boucle jacket is.  It’s definitely a great piece to dress up outfits or to keep things casual.

After a long arduous weekend, Mystery Man and I decided to take a quick break and drop by the Griffith Observatory.  The observatory has an incredible view of the city.  We stayed there till sunset and caught the last rays of sunlight.

Thank you so much for reading!
