Forest :: Leather boots & Burberry military jacket
Hi everyone! I’m so happy to hear that you got a little giggle from the last blog post =) Mystery Man and I had a blast filming it!
A couple of days ago, Mystery Man and I went shopping at a nearby mall. We were looking for ear muffs for me and wool jackets for him. After a successful shopping trip, we were about to leave the mall when Mystery Man suggested to stop by Burberry. I’ve never stepped into a Burberry store before, so naturally I was a little intimidated. We made our way into the store and I meekly touched their trench coats. I was so worried that I might stain the sleeves, or worse, accidentally trip over myself taking one of the sleeves with me. I kept on walking holding my hands together when I saw this olive jacket out of the corner of my eye.
A wonderful sale associate (SA) approached me a few minutes later and helped me put this jacket on. The moment it rested on me, I knew I was in love. I was smitten by the feminine pleating coupled with the masculine hardware and strong shoulders. The helpful SA brought back trench coats and leather jackets for me to try on as well, but every time, I went back to this military jacket. Of all the jackets I tried on, Mystery Man liked this one the most and that sealed the deal for me. As I went to pay for it, my hands were shaking and Mystery Man stood by me with comforting words, “Congratulations on your first Burberry honey!”
Chicago is absolutely breathtaking! I’m actually standing right next to a frozen lake, which is something that I will never see in Los Angeles.
Thank you so much for reading!
