While I do appreciate Los Angeles for its warm weather in the middle of winter, I prefer colder climates. Ideally, I would love to live half the year in LA and the other half in Chicago. Seeing the leaves change color in autumn and snow in winter would be incredible, then heading back to enjoy the sun and warmth would be perfect =)
I’ve had these boyfriend cut cords in my closet from last spring, and pulled them out to pair their lush texture with the delicate nature of the suede booties. As you can tell, I can’t get enough of these boots. They are tall, but surprisingly comfortable. To be honest with you, the only pair in my collection that caused memorable discomfort are my Steve Madden ‘Gretta’. They are the only pair that I have trouble balancing in. A few weeks ago, Mystery Man and I were walking to a hardware store to pick up some materials for our film project when I suddenly lost my balance. My stride got wobbly and I lunged forward, head first. With my arms flapping in the air, I grabbed whatever was in front of me. Luckily for me, it was Mystery Man. If he wasn’t there, I would probably kiss the concrete that day.
