Happy Friday everyone!  First and foremost, thank you so much for your support on the last blog post!  Dr. Laura took down all of the prescriptions and we can’t wait for the eyeglasses to arrive!  Our youths are so grateful and excited.

I’ve been wanting to buy distressed jeans for awhile now, but decided to distress a pair myself.  Mystery Man thought it would be fun to film the process, so we did a DIY video.  Truth be told, when that razor did not penetrate the jeans, I got a little worried.  I wanted a blunt cut, so I was determined not to use scissors.  I turned to MM and said ‘I’m just going to go for it.’  He chuckled and offered supportive words… ‘destroy it!’  After a few attempts, the razor finally went through.

Are you ready for… awesome news?  We’re going to New York Fashion Week!!!  Can you believe it?!  Last time at Fashion Week, I nearly broke down and cried after the Tibi show.  I promise this time, I’ll be more composed.  I’m incredibly humbled and honored that the Independent Fashion Blogger (IFB) invited me to be a part of their panel!  In the company of four amazing bloggers, we will discuss the importance of quality content, building a community, and establishing unique traits in today’s highly-saturated blogging world.  The IFB Conference will be on February 8th at Milk Studios in New York.  They have amazing panels throughout the day, so I highly recommend if you’re interested in blogging or interested in growing your blog to attend.  I plan to attend all of the panels and look forward to hearing each blogger’s perspective.  To be honest with you, I’m quite nervous.  Hopefully by the time I’m up, I won’t accidentally trip on stage, or worst, trip over perfect strangers on my way to my seat.  If you’re going to be at the IFB Conference, please let me know and I hope to catch up with you there!

Every time I say ‘thank you so much for reading,’ I truly mean it.  Our blog would not be where it is without your support, encouragement, and positivity.  I can’t wait to blog more winter outfits from New York, share my fashion show experience during Fashion Week, and update you on our Bloglovin’ nomination.

As always, thank you so much for reading!
