Silk Shapes :: Knit heart & Organza dots
Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend?
When Mystery Man saw this outfit, he excitedly said, “you’re wearing a bow tie!” Partially true, this blouse came with two long neckpieces that I tied together resulting in a floppy bow. What tickles my funny bone is that the position of the bow, as it rests on my sweater, makes it look like the heart is waving =)
My happy dance. Because… we’re going to Florence!!! Mystery Man and I have never been to Italy, so we’re beyond excited! We’ll be there for a week in mid-June and I can’t wait to share blog posts from Florence with you. May I kindly ask for a huge favor? If you’ve been to Florence or live there, can you recommend places for us to visit? We would love to explore local gems, visit memorable places, appreciate signature dishes, and savor the shopping experience (the last part is more for me =). Sightseeing, dining, shopping… we would love to hear your thoughts! And more importantly, we have an unquenchable thirst for inspiration. We would greatly appreciate suggestions to places that would give us an authentic glimpse into the culture, history, and beauty of the city.
Thank you so much for reading and thank you for being on this journey with us!
