Hi everyone!  Instead of ‘The Break Up’, I should have called this entry ‘The Wake Up’.  I haven’t been sleeping well in the last couple of weeks.  Since we’re working on multiple projects, I can’t get myself to sleep without thinking about the details.  I have my phone next to my bed just in case I need to jot anything down in the middle of the night.  Enough of my sleeping problems… Let’s talk about the good stuff!  This sweater.  It’s called ‘The Break Up’. A tribute to Lichtenstein’s ‘The Crying Girl’, this top has so much personality.  From afar it looks like an abstract graphic print, and up close, the details shine.  The delicate hair, the wet eyelashes, the gentle finger wiping the tears away… an emotional depiction that is familiar to every woman.  Even though this sweater has a somber feel, I actually find comfort in the bittersweet reminder that all relationships, good and bad, contribute to personal growth and interesting (and sometimes entertaining) stories.

Happy Wednesday and thank you so much for reading!
