Happy Wednesday everyone! As you’re reading this, we’re on our way to the airport heading for Chicago! I consider the drop in temperature in LA as a warm (pun intended) introduction to the weather in Chicago. My luggage is filled with coats, jackets, and tall boots. We’re looking forward to good eats, home-cooked meals, and family time to warm us up!
For this look, I wanted to dress in crisp ivory and pastels to liven up the gloomy chilly weather. And these suede tall boots are great transeasonal items. They provide comfort and warmth to my bottom half, and still give me the freedom to wear dresses or skirts to satisfy my craving for spring dressing. I wore these boots to death in New York during Fashion Week and they’re enjoying some California time at the moment. Since the last time I wore them, a handful of readers asked me about them. Because Capodarte is based in Brazil and they currently don’t have an online presence, I found a pair of over-the-knee boots at Nordstrom that have a similar toe box just in case you’re interested. I’ll keep on searching and if I see more similar styles, I’ll update you =)
Thank you so much for reading!
