Happy Monday everyone!  MM took us to the Willis Tower Skydeck where we stood 1,353 feet up to see and admire the city view of Chicago.  One of the main attractions of the Skydeck is their glass balconies where nothing separated us and 103 floors down but a thick piece of glass.  Since my brother and I are not afraid of heights, we looked up, over, and down, basically everywhere while in the glass box (picture of us here =).  Before sitting there with my brother, I had a temporary moment of panic attack when the previous glass box that I stood in shattered.  It was a moment when my mind and body literally froze.  One second I was standing there looking down, and the next second, I saw a web-like crystallization spread from one side of the glass box to my side.  The box holds about two couples comfortably at a time, so everyone was taking turns forming two lines per box.  One of the other two people who were standing next to us in the box accidentally dropped a sharp object from his pocket while doing a handstand.  That object made contact with the glass at an angle that punctured the glass.  When I saw the object dropped and glass shattered beneath me, I literally had no reaction.  I think my body was in a state of shock.  The next thing I heard was MM saying, get out of there!  He grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the box.  After experiencing that, I felt extremely grateful and oddly rejuvenated.  The family wanted to go into another glass balcony to get the proper experience that we didn’t get the first time.  Standing there with them, I felt so blessed.

Now to the fashion… I love the design and details of this trench.  Military inspired with a deep olive hue, strong shoulders, and leather belted throat latch and cuffs, this olive piece makes me feel powerful yet feminine because of its fitted silhouette.  To add some texture to the outfit, I paired the trench and slim pants with a beaded top.

As always, thank you so much for reading.  Please take care and talk to you soon!
