Happy Monday everyone! For today’s post, I’d like to share with you two contrasting looks styled around one dress. With December being the month of holiday parties and get-togethers, I love experimenting with different pieces to create outfits that match the theme and vibe of various social occasions. I wore the above outfit to a Forbes dinner celebrating entrepreneurs and women in leadership a few weeks ago. Knowing that I would be surrounded by so many strong women in fashion, I wanted to wear pieces that made me feel powerful. Pairing an almost knee-length sheer panel dress with tall boots and a textured coat, I felt like I just walked out of the Matrix and was ready to kick some butt!
With the same dress, I paired a casual trench and a hint of animal print to create a brunch look. The nude pumps help elongate my legs and I like that the red lips add a hint of glamour to a daytime look.
I hope you enjoyed the looks and thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post!
