Rome is a magical place.  So much history at every step and so many magnificent structures around every corner.  I’ve been to Rome once, but only stayed for a few hours which was definitely not enough time.  A few months ago, I had the honor of going back to Rome with Bulgari, the luxury jewelry house.  This time, my journey took me to different parts, gave me opportunities to explore different areas, and left me with a deep appreciation for the city.  And like last time, I wished I could’ve stayed longer.

Bulgari took me to Rome to share their love for the Eternal City and celebrate their deep Roman heritage.  We captured the journey with a short film that started on the Spanish Steps and just a few steps further we continued to their beautiful boutique on the historic Via dei Condotti.  Like a moth drawn to a flame, I instantly gravitated to their B.zero1 collection.  Understated elegance combined with extraordinary details, this collection has a classic feel with a modern flare.  Incredibly light but heavy in appearance, I adore the artistic blend of their tubogas technique, which makes the spiral B.zero1 rings move, along with the distinctive BVLGARI logo.

I wish I could capture every part of Rome to share with you.  But for now, I hope you’ll enjoy this photo journal and short film.  A story of three friends exploring Rome and discovering Bulgari, their intrinsic and symbiotic connection to ancient Rome  – the historic steps, the cobble stone roads, the sun-kissed alleyways, and the little corner restaurant that made the most flavorful pasta…eggplant with anchovies!  Rome is more beautiful than I imagined.
