Romeo and Juliet in Florence :: Striped suit & Textured dress
Hi everyone and greetings from Florence! Our adventure continues and we’re currently in Florence right now. We left Paris with only a few hours of sleep and went straight to Luisa via Roma after we landed in Florence. Running on pure adrenaline, we were excited, nervous, and just super happy to have the opportunity to let our imagination run wild at the Luisa via Roma boutique. I have very fond memories of this store from participating in their Style Lab series (flying blue dress & warrior queen posts), so being there again brought back so much joy. The theme for this post and styling is Romeo and Juliet. In Florence and without the poison. And they adopted a cat =)
The long oversized sleeves, gathered front and back details, sheer panels, and draped shoulders summon the essence of Juliet but in a modern way. The richly textured fabric and experimental design of this dress gives it a modern feel while the soft pleats anchor it with feminine undertones.
O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? For I’m hungry…
On Colin, a striped suit with a sharp mandarin collar shirt paired with textured loafers. The notched wide lapels, navy red stripes, and intentional irregular placement of the buttons give this suit a classic yet modern spin.
We reunite and now he tests all of my drinks before I drink them. And we adopted a cat! I wish! This handsome purr baby lives next door and came out to say hi during our shoot. The moment I saw him, I ran straight to him. Romeo who?!
As always, thank you so much for reading! I truly hope you enjoy the styling and photos. And a huge thank you to Luisa via Roma for giving us the opportunity to play at their store!
Good night, good night. Parting is such sweet sorrow,
That I shall say good night till it be morrow.
