Most of the time when we’re up in San Francisco, we stay with our good friend in the Richmond District. Even though there is only a few miles that separates them, there’s a big difference in temperature between the Richmond and downtown Union Square. Alternating between cold winds and warm sunlight, I layered up with a tunic (it’s actually a dress, worn again as a top, and now a tunic) and a vest to adapt to the change in weather.
I find it so amusing at times reading names of certain pieces. This vest is called ‘Cupcake’. I can totally imagine the design team saying that’s what we’ll call it… Cupcake! as they’re walking by a bakery. Of course! It’s velvety, soft, and makes you feel warm inside when it’s cold outside. A perfect name for a ruffle bomber vest!
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for reading!
