Greetings from Sicily! I kid. I’ve never been to Sicily, but there’s something about off-the-shoulders romantic tops that transports me to that beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea. Maybe it’s the movement of the tops or the Dolce & Gabbana ads in 2012, but somehow I associate sun-kissed shoulders with Sicily. Until MM and I can visit Sicily, I’ll just let my imagination have some fun.
I’m a Virgo, but this particular color and design really spoke to me. My brother is actually a Sagittarius, and (some of you already know =) he means the absolute world to me. Lately, we haven’t seen each other as much as we would like to. Both our travel and project schedules have been quite demanding, so it’s a little tough to set up quality time (we love to cook together!). I think it was rather a subconscious decision to get these flats. Whenever I’m on the road or every time I look at them, I think about my brother and how blessed I am to have him in my life.
