I love mixing patterns and playing with different combinations.  Sometimes similar pattern sizes tell an interesting story (as seen here), while other times it’s the different sizes that add interest to the outfit story.  For this look, I wanted to pair delicate grid lines with strong stripes.  I love how these two pieces look like they’re related.  The flare cuffs and the peplum hem can pass as sisters!

By chance, do you remember the DIY birdcage chandelier project from awhile back?  I’m actually not too happy with the results.  It didn’t turn out as well as we expected.  My brother and I are going to try a birdcage-candle hanging light instead.  Fingers crossed for attempt number two!
