Happy Friday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Given that our kitchen is very small (just for size approximation the litter box takes about 1/3 of the kitchen!), Colin and I don’t really cook at home that much. There’s just enough room to make tea and cook package ramen. So for the holidays, we celebrate by going out. And then the best part… when we get home, we cook a little something for the kitties. Not for the humans. The kitties! How was your holiday?! Were you able to spend time with family and friends (four-legged companions included of course)? What are your holiday traditions? Old ones that you cherish and/or new ones that you’re creating?
For the holidays, I love dressing up but I enjoy re-styling to extend the life of statement pieces more. This coated bebe black dress is beautiful on its own. The off-shoulder design detailed with a cascading ruffle and coated finish is perfect for holiday parties and night outs. For a more textured look, I paired the dress with a velvet turtleneck underneath and faux fur jacket for extra warmth. I love layering and especially for the holidays, I love creating looks that have strong textural elements. To anchor the look, I added a few more textured details… a braided belt, a woven satin clutch, and studded boots. And these studded buckle boots are so much fun! Sleek with a hint of medieval armor, these boots are great with skinny jeans and a chunky knit sweater for daywear, and with a LBD or midi lengths for night outs.
To continue the holiday festivities, bebe is having a holiday sale with 40% off the entire site on Black Friday & Cyber Monday (free gift with purchase)! In addition to this coated ruffle dress, I also adore this studded romper and double-breasted jacket dress. Happy hunting and thank you so much for reading! And special thanks to bebe for partnering on this post!
