Happy Thursday everyone! As much as I love festive colors for the holidays, there’s something in me that always goes back to the classics. And I love classics, with a twist. A must-have in everyone’s closet is a tailored black coat. In my humble opinion, a close second after a black coat is a black and white patterned coat. It’s just as versatile and it adds depth and texture to any pairing. This The Kooples houndstooth pattern coat (also adore their black military coat) is an elevated classic, one of those timeless pieces that makes any outfit look sharper and more elegantly pulled together. It’s cut with a double-breasted silhouette featuring notched lapels and a sleek panel lining and my favorite part… pins! They’re so charming and playful! Perfect for the weekend in cropped jeans and sneakers and great with a LBD for night outs, this black and white coat is truly versatile.
I wanted to add a touch of softness to this black and white look, and couldn’t imagine a better color than pink. Delicate and tender, rose colors are a great way to soften cold weather pairings. A trio of pink – blush color sweater, light pink scarf, and nude pink pumps – anchored by black and white.
Thank you so much for reading! And special thanks to Bloomingdale’s for partnering on this post!
