This cape coat with the tulle ruffle peeking out… I look like a character in a period piece. Imagine… Set in London, 19th century, a young woman hardened by some traumatic experiences with a mean neighbor joins a group of vampire hunters. I get to play the main protagonist’s long-lost friend and hope not to get killed off in the first episode. Speaking of movies though, did you see me in Moneyball? Remember that really small girl? Yup it was me… in the crowd… a head in a sea of heads… microscopic… watching the game. Being an extra on the set of Moneyball was a lot of fun. I learned a lot and saw true movie magic in the making. They needed to fill the baseball stadium, so they cloned us. There was about just a hundred or so of us, probably enough to fill 1/10th of the stadium. We moved around 6 to 8 times covering each section of the stadium, and in the end, they stitched the whole thing together. It’s incredible really… 12 hours on set and countless of hours in post-production for a few seconds of screen time.
Now back to fall fashion. I love capes and cape-like pieces for autumn! This Caroline Constas cape coat has a hint of Victorian vibe mixed with contemporary style. I found a few more cape coats and styles that I’d love to share with you – Calvin Klein double breasted cape coat (under $100) | Milly ruffled cape (under $340) | Stella McCartney long cape (under $760) | Burberry military cape (under $1150).
Happy Monday everyone and thank you so much for reading!
