I have so much to share with you! Before we left San Francisco, David and I went to Golden Gate Park to snap a few shots. We went with a dual purpose – to take some pictures for my blog and take some profile pictures of David for his website. We had so much fun and I can’t wait to share the photos with you!
Lately, I’ve been feeling uninspired. I think it’s a compilation of things – adjusting to LA, missing my friends, not being able to finish an area in my bedroom dedicated to collecting inspirations, and not being able to find a juvenile justice non-profit organization to volunteer at yet. Every time I plan for a YouTube pairing episode, I usually spend a few days collecting my thoughts, drafting inspiration boards, and organizing pieces in my closet. And sometimes, I don’t find anything in my closet that inspires me. A few days ago, I was browsing online stores in search for inspiration and came across these sequin pants. They were odd, daring, and best of all, on sale! My mind was racing – I can pair them for casual wear, for a girls’ night out, for a date, for so many events! It’s just so strange that a unique pair of pants can ignite so many ideas, helping me get back on track.
Now, back to David – he needed profile pictures for his website and Facebook page. I immediately jumped at the opportunity to be his photographer!
Of all of the pictures I took, this one is by far my favorite! I regret not walking backwards fast enough to give more headroom in this photo. Although it did not make it onto his website or Facebook page, I think this picture captured the essence of David very well. He’s talented, goofy, fun, and such a great person to work with!
Thank you so much for reading! And I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
