Mystery Man and I had the absolute pleasure of attending Tacori‘s Fall Collection unveiling last night.  We were mesmerized by their lush jewel tone color pieces and intricate designs.  With the help of my talented tailor Hector, I wore this dress to the event.  He literally opened it at every seam and modified it to fit my frame.  He’s a wizard at altering items to ensure that they fit perfectly.

Just minutes before heading out to the event, I realized that my nude bandeau was too short for the front slit.  It exposed the end points and I really wanted to wear something seamless underneath.  After trying on different bandeaus and nude tank tops, I started to panic a little.  Nothing worked.  All of the bandeaus were too short and the tank tops had necklines that were too low, thus exposing end points that can be seen through the slit.  At the last minute, I had a crazy idea and turned my nude tank top backwards, assuming that the back panel had a higher cut than the front neckline.  It worked!  Just in case you’re looking for seamless coverage underneath tops or dresses with open front designs, consider wearing a tank top backwards for a higher neckline =)

Happy Wednesday and thank you so much for reading!
