Earlier this month, my dear friend Jean and I had a lengthy conversation about leopard coats. It all started with an email where she shared her latest shoe acquisition. She took a quick picture for me to see, and the angels sung when I saw her wearing this leopard coat with the shoes. Unbeknownst to Jean, a stampede of questions flooded her email. We discussed quality, fabric structure, cost per wear, sizing… the list went on. This coat is made from a beautiful linen material which is perfect for my Southern California winter and Jean’s Boston spring weather.
After ordering the coat, I made a promise to myself that the only way for me to keep it was if I reworked my Zara leopard one (maybe adding leather pockets or changing it to leather sleeves). I try my very best not to have similar pieces in my closet, so I love personalizing items to give it a unique personality.
Grinning from ear to ear… the joys of macarons and coffee. Yummy!
Happy Wednesday everyone and thank you so much for reading!
