Happy Monday everyone!

Even though I love playing with black and white, I find it quite creatively challenging at times.  Limiting to (and at the same time liberated by) a single hue, I gravitate towards structures, patterns, prints and shapes to add elements of interest to a monochromatic outfit.  When I saw this ruffle train blouse, I instinctively wanted to couple it with my structured leather skirt to create a double train effect.  The structural elements of these two pieces were so much fun to play with!

Thank you so much for your thoughts on my last blog post!  As you’re reading this, we’re on our way to the airport!  We’re planning to snap a few pictures before we take off, and will take packing and outfit suggestion photos once we land in Shanghai.  Stay tuned for Wednesday’s airport style and packing/travel blog post!  Talk to you soon!

Thank you so much for reading!
