Happy Monday everyone!
My love for lace continues (again here & here), but this time it’s with a floral tulle skirt (last seen here). Since both pieces exude a delicate aura, I wanted to toughen up the look with a corset belt and leather jacket.
MM and I love the show So You Think You Can Dance, and if there’s a show called So You Know You Can’t Dance, sign me up! Watching the dancers compete and move is so thrilling. The human body can do that?! Legs that extend to the sky?! Jump, grab, wha! boom! ba! from across the room?! MM and I always gasp after a great performance, and later just daydream wishing we can dance like that. We have immense respect for dancers, and watching them on the screen is always a feast for the eyes. This past Saturday, our onscreen infatuation became a reality as we watched a live performance thanks to our friend, B. We saw the American Contemporary Ballet: Music+Dance Series, and loved every minute of it! I got so excited when I saw their pointe work! They were like clouds gliding across the horizon. To pay tribute to their amazing work, I tried my best to spin on my toes too. Unlike floating clouds, my attempt looked like a tulle tornado making its way to engulf MM as he was taking the picture.
