Happy Friday and Happy Lunar New Year everyone!

Personally, I love mixing patterns and textures.  It adds interest and personality to the whole ensemble, and allows for so much creativity when creating pairings.  One of my favorite ways to mix patterns is keeping the color palette similar while focusing on two different prints.  For this outfit, I’m playing with a black, white, and blue theme while weaving zebra stripes and plaid together.

I can’t believe Fashion Week is next week.  How time flies!  No matter the season, the blistering heat or the unbearable cold, I always enjoy being in New York during this time.  Last month, MM and I were in the Big Apple for a project with Hugo Boss and we had the honor of watching Jason Wu work his magic in the design studio.  As he was fitting and draping, you can see his laser focused vision and superb attention to details.  It was such a powerful sight!  This upcoming Fashion Week will be Jason Wu’s debut collection for Hugo Boss, and to celebrate, a film collaboration with directors Inez and Vinoodh was created.  For your viewing pleasure, here’s a teaser of the film.  After seeing first hand how Jason works, we’re so excited and can’t wait for his designs to hit the runway!

Wishing you endless happiness, love, and peace in the Year of the Horse!  Thank you so much for reading!
