Venice :: Flare coat & Bow details
Happy Monday everyone! Before leaving Florence, we took a day trip to Venice. And oh my! Talk about stepping out of a train station straight into a movie! Everything, and I mean every single thing, was picturesque. When we were there, it was quite cold and unfortunately very foggy, so we decided not to do the gondola ride. Which is another way of saying… we’ll be back!
To keep warm, I wore a thick wool coat over a long sleeve top (the orange color that is peeking through the coat), skirt, and tights. Since I knew we were going to do a lot of walking, I came prepared with my comfy wedge boots. It was actually so cold that I didn’t take off my coat throughout the day (even indoors), so I was glad that this particular coat design gave me the creative freedom to style it to mimic a flare dress silhouette.
We took our time and walked aimlessly through the streets of Venice. It was very much a beautiful maze with sweet surprises at every corner. A charming bridge to your left or a cute coffee shop to your right. And like with all great movies, we left Venice yearning for more. The sequel is in the works as we speak! Venice, we’ll see you again soon =)
Thank you so much for your wonderful recommendations on places to visit and eat in Venice! We took notes and dropped by many places that you suggested. If you haven’t been to Venice, we highly highly recommend it. If you’ve already been, we hope that these scenic pictures bring back fond memories =)
Thank you so much for reading!
