Sometimes the best remedy to a gloomy day is brunch. Bundled up with my plaid coat and wool hat, MM and I went to Bouchon (our favorite dish there is chicken and waffles!) to hide out from the rain and cold. And for this weekend, I wanted to play with mixing prints. Since leopard naturally pairs well with red, I used that as the color/print base to harmonize the red plaid of the coat to the leopard print of the pumps.
Thank you so much for your suggestions on the last blog post! I’ll definitely add them to my to-watch list! I’m so hooked on My Love From Another Star that I’m watching it again (and sharing it with all of my girlfriends!). This time since I’m aware of the plot, I find myself appreciating the fashion elements and story telling techniques more. But to be honest with you, I was so emotionally affected by this show that I might need a long break before watching another Korean drama. The story line had a powerful lingering effect that left me quite breathless and caring for the characters.
Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend so far and thank you so much for reading!
