Greetings from NYC! The morning after we landed in New York, we hit the ground running with creative meetings back to back. It was quite a productive day, and yesterday, we had so much fun sending out mini care packages to readers (will tell you more about it on Friday!). It’s truly hard not to fall in love with this city every time we’re here!
I adore the sleek tulip design of this skirt, and since the fabrication (cotton canvas) has more of a casual feel, I wanted to complement that theme with a cropped utility jacket. As you probably already know, I love a great tailored jacket, but once in awhile I also like playing with relaxed silhouettes. Since this skirt is so shapely, I thought it’d be fun to add a little bit of contrast by pairing it with a semi-boxy jacket.
