Palme Verte :: Chopard X Vanity Fair

Chasing light and driving up winding roads, we reached an area in Angeles Forest where the last drops of sunlight peeked through winter pines and tall grass.  With no cell phone reception and the radio turned off for miles, we enjoyed peaceful moments and found comfort in our own thoughts.  The loud soundboard of our social world was temporarily silenced, and we found serenity while marveling at nature’s robust structures.  I honestly haven’t had quiet moments like these in a long time and it was quite refreshing.

Inspired by Chopard’s Palme Verte collection, we went to Angeles Forest and found ourselves admiring both nature and beautiful designs.  The finely ribbed leaves of the palms mirror the gold color of earth and sky.  The polished curves of the jewelry reflect the gentle arcs of trees and mountains.

In addition to appreciating the beauty of the Palme Verte collection, I applaud what it stands for.  The design itself is inspired by the Cannes Palme d’Or, which is the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival.  Like the award, which stands for setting the highest standards, the Chopard Palme Verte collection is also setting standards by embracing principles of ethical jewelry.  The collection is crafted from certified Fairmined is sustainably produced with respect for social, environmental and ethical standards – and ensures that children are not working in the mines.

I hope you had a great weekend and happy Monday!  I truly hope you enjoyed this photo story (we can drool at the jewelry pieces together!).  And a special thank you to Chopard and Vanity Fair for partnering on this post!
