Dreaming of Marrakech :: Sculptural pieces & Richly-hued gemstones
While appreciating every moment during our last days in Greece, I remembered yearning to see more of the world. Maybe we can head straight to Istanbul from Santorini or visit Marrakech before heading home. The burning desire to see a new place and to feel the energy of that particular city fuels my everlasting wanderlust.
I’ve never been to Marrakech, but dream of it quite often. From the lantern shops to the night markets, Marrakech radiates hues of gold and blue. Embracing these rich tones, I layered sculptural jewelry pieces with a maxi dress for a date night look here back home. With my hair pulled back into a messy ponytail and bare neck, I wanted to highlight these beautiful drop earrings. Stacking citrine with pearl bracelets and a delicate citrine ring with a diamond cable band, I wanted to create a layered look with tiers of warm hues and bold textures.
I hope to visit Marrakech one day, but for now, I’ll continue to dream about it. Happy Monday and I hope you enjoyed this photo story! Thank you so much for reading! And special thanks to David Yurman for partnering on this post!
