Happy Wednesday everyone! Back in NYC and freezing! I’m smiling in this photo, but behind those sunglasses are tears. It gets so cold that I start tearing up. But thank goodness for sunglasses! Fashionable and functional as winter tear shields!
I love a great coat, and especially, tailored coats. But since moving to New York, I learned to embrace and really adore oversized coats. One, they’re much easier to layer chunky thick sweaters under, and two, they feel super cozy. I’ve been wearing this Mango coat (currently 35% off) non-stop. I’m actually wearing three layers (a thermal, a oversized sweater, and a long coat) on top and two layers on the bottom (wool leggings under jeans), and it doesn’t feel restrictive in any way. The coat really helps anchor the feel of this outfit… cozy, comfy, and winter ready! And not to mention, it’s such a happy color!
