A Day in LA :: High waisted shorts & Mule shoes

by wendy

Happy Friday everyone!

This might look like an ad for the Mini, but it’s not (Mini, if you’re reading this, call me).  While we were in LA, we wanted to rent a car and thought it’d be fun to have a mini (pun intended) convertible, so that we can enjoy some much needed vitamin D.  With that said, we also learned a valuable lesson in sunscreen.  Colin’s forehead received a light lobster red hue while my face felt dry and dull after the trip.  Other than that, we had a great time in LA.  We’re back in NYC now and definitely miss the LA warmth.

We did a lot of walking in LA and I was so happy to have these mule shoes with me.  They’re extremely comfortable!  They’re actually my first pair of mules and I didn’t realize I was missing out all this time.  Even though they don’t have much height, the beige bow detail blends seamlessly into your leg, and together with the pointed toe, the overall shape help elongate your frame.  They’re great with shorts, skirts, skinny jeans, flare jeans, basically with everything!

Have a fantastic weekend and thank you so much for reading!
