This is my last entry from New York and it’s definitely the most memorable.
For the Tibi show, I wanted to wear something edgy yet comfy. I love pairing voluminous tops with slimming bottoms.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be at Fashion Week, and to sit in the front row at Tibi is unimaginable. When I was young, I would retreat to the corner of my bedroom and draw fashion sketches in order to escape the violence. I had a very active imagination as a child, mainly because, it was better to live in dreams than in reality. I dreamt about designing and playing with beautiful things. For me, being at Fashion Week was more than just about the fashion, it was a sweet reminder that dreams do come true. After the Tibi show, Mystery Man gave me a big hug and said “I’m so proud of you.” I broke down and cried. Thank YOU so much for being on this journey with me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
