Happy Friday everyone!
This silk georgette blouse is very unique. I regret not taking the jacket off to show you the shoulder design. With its feminine cap sleeves and lace print high neckline, this top gives off a modern vintage vibe. It’s perfect for brunch and do you know what else? A vampire wedding. Yes, you heard correctly. A vampire wedding. For some odd reason when I saw this blouse, I instinctively thought… if I ever needed to attend a vampire wedding. This is what I would wear. When I think of vampires, I associate them with graceful moments and irresistible charm. Obviously, someone has been watching too many Twilight movies. All kidding aside, there is a quiet sophistication in this design that is very seductive. With the sheer lace print decorating the collarbone coupled with the horizontal lace line to “cinch” the waist, this top breathes a soft hint of sexiness and begs to be worn with high heels.
If you have some time, I would like to share a story with you. It’s about sisterhood of the traveling jacket… but in this case, the jacket didn’t get very far. I was at Zara the other day and when I walked in, a sales associate greeted me with, “I love your videos.” When this happens, I usually release a high pitched giggle and repeatedly say thank you. After our quick conversation, I wandered to the jacket section and saw this studded tweed jacket. Unfortunately, they ran out of my size. The lovely sales associate came to my rescue and checked their inventory room. After a few minutes, my hopes evaporated. Sweet Anna (thank you thank you thank you!) came back with her jacket. New inventory came in that morning and she saved this jacket to purchase for herself later that day. She handed me her jacket and I made a new friend that day.
Anna, if you’re reading this… I hope I didn’t disappoint you with this pairing and I look forward to crossing paths with you again at Zara =)
Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
