Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful relaxing weekend!
Captivated by the royal blue, sunshine yellow, and midnight black combination, I took inspiration from the blue tang fish when I was putting this outfit together. Excitedly, I pulled Mystery Man over and showed him my styling and inspiration board.
Me: My color inspiration… the blue tang fish…
MM: It’s Dory!
Me: What? Who’s Dory?
MM: You know… from Finding Nemo? Just google ‘what kind of fish is Dory?’…
And sure enough, it says Paracanthurus hepatus or blue tang. Like a fish, I feel like I’m gliding through water in this skirt. The silk acts as a coolant keeping me cool against the New York heat and humidity. With each step, it feels like a splash of chilled water gets wrapped around my legs.
Also, I want to apologize for the wrinkles on my skirt. As I was running from shows to meetings, it started to rain so instinctively I grabbed the bottom of my skirt to prevent it from getting wet thus wrinkling it. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to steam it out before taking blog photos.
Thank you so much for reading and talk to you soon!
