星期五快樂! Our trip to Taiwan ends today as we make our way to Hong Kong. From the countless food cart options to the relaxing hot spring baths, we definitely will miss Taiwan. More importantly, we deeply respect the people – their strong devotion to their families, incredible work ethnics, and entrepreneurial spirits. We can’t wait to come back!

Hot spring baths (thank you to all who recommended this!) at Beitou in the Yangmingshan national park.
The temperature of these gentle white sulfur hot springs can range from 99 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. When we went, the temperature of the park itself was quite cold. Going from the cold weather outside into the hot spring was an interesting experience. For the first few seconds it was so uncomfortable just dangling my feet in the water. It was so hot! But after a couple of minutes, I got use to the smell of sulfur, the heat, and the steam, which helped me build enough courage to go in. I think my skin improved significantly after the bath. Once the redness subsided (from the heat), my skin felt softer and smoother. Now, if only I can get one of these in my apartment =)
