Last month, I had the honor of participating in My-Wardrobe’s London Lab event. MM and I have a soft spot for London, so we were thrilled to be back. We met talented British designers and styled two looks celebrating their amazing work. For the first look, I gravitated towards a cut-out collarless jacket by Huishan Zhang. Graduated from Central Saint Martins, Zhang weaves delicate feminine details into structured cuts in his current collection. It’s a great power play between the feminine and masculine. This outfit will go live on My-Wardrobe
tomorrow (here it is – London Lab ‘The Blogger’s View’!), so I can’t wait to share it with you!
For the second look, I immediately darted towards this striped flare skirt. I’ve been a long time fan of Ostwald Helgason’s color block and mixed pattern designs, so this skirt spoke to me right away. Wanting to highlight the color theme, I paired an olive mini bag and a gold statement belt with the skirt.
:: A special announcement… our digital magazine ::
And last but not least, MM and I are beyond excited to announce… our digital magazine! This launch has been brewing for a long time and it’s finally scheduled for release at the end of this month! Our goal is to create and release a digital glossy at the end of each month, and we’ve been working non-stop on this passion project. We truly believe that it will challenge our understanding of photography, styling, writing, story-telling, and more, and will push us to be more creative. We’re excited, thrilled, nervous, anxious… every word you can think of… for the release. But for now, we would love to share a sneak peek of one of the stories we’re working on. It’s a collaboration with THE OUTNET for Hervé Léger! We had so much fun shooting this story and can’t wait to share the complete digital magazine with you in a few days!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for reading!
