Happy Wednesday everyone! A few weeks ago, Kelly and I got together to celebrate her engagement (congrats again Kelly & Mr. Alterationsneeded!) and the launch of the Promise Bracelet. After brunch, we wandered over to Barneys, and once inside, we beelined for the Marissa Webb collection. There it stood… this blazer. A perfect autumn piece with structured lines, leather details, and a bell hem silhouette. Alternating between petting and staring, I was completely smitten with it. More importantly, I felt challenged and inspired by it. I wanted to create as many pairings as possible and to fully embrace styling a plaid print. For today’s post, the adventure begins with a day look, pairing plaid with lace and distressed jeans, and ends with a date night look, coupling plaid with holiday colors and flare shapes.
For our dinner date, I wanted to restyle the plaid print with a peplum top and flare skirt. And since it’s December, a holiday palette is very appropriate =) One of our favorite places to dine in LA is The Little Next Door. If you haven’t been, we highly recommend it! We love sitting in the patio area with a glass of wine, our favorite dishes, and coffee afterwards. It’s quiet and charming… a great date night spot!
Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far and thank you so much for reading!
