Happy Friday everyone! These photos were taken on our first day in San Francisco when the weather was quite chilly. I wanted to create a layered look, so just in case it got too warm during the day I can take off the leather jacket and wear the sleeveless vest on its own. I adore sleeveless vests! They’re such great transeasonal pieces!
A little action behind the action! =) My brother captured this behind-the-scene moment of me reviewing the photos. There are so many aspects to blogging that I thoroughly enjoy. Besides the styling, I love the photography and editing side. I’ve learned what to look for in a photo and how much I can push in edit. Can the lighting be adjusted while keeping the details sharp? Does the photo tell a good narrative of the clothing pieces? Are there any undesirable objects in the photo (trash, odd car angles, etc.)? With all of this and more in consideration, we’re racing against time (sunlight or lack thereof), traffic, and more. We get this question quite often which is what camera and lens do we shoot with… Our favorite setup is the Canon 5D Mark 3 with the 85mm f/1.2L lens. Amazing camera and lens!
Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for reading!
