Happy Friday everyone! This is my last entry from New York. My NYC trip was truly special. I was invited to join designer Yoana Baraschi and speak at a GEMS symposium. GEMS is an organization in NYC dedicated to help girls and young women who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking. It was truly an honor meeting these young women. I spoke and shared my journey as a fashion blogger and offered any help I can to support these young women to chase their dreams.
As the leaves turn golden yellow and the ground blanketed with gentle foliage, I couldn’t help but draw inspiration from an autumn color palette. Yellow with red is a color pairing that makes me appreciate the essence of fall. Rich vibrant colors that exude warmth and cheer. I mixed my ruby duffle coat with a yellow sweater to complete the color inspiration and added a quilted skirt to sprinkle a hint of soft patterns to the look.
