Summer romance… an essence of sophisticated femininity mixed with airy elements, pieces that float and flutter in the wind. To me, this dress captures a slice of summer romance perfectly. A soft layered silhouette paired against military-inspired straps, I love the contrast between the delicate and the masculine. I feel it gives this maxi piece a modern vibe.
If you’re ever in NYC, there’s a beautiful silk flower shop on W 28th. PANY is one of my favorite places to visit! With two cats at home, I admire different types of flowers from afar and will decorate with silk flowers in the apartment. I had a scary incident a few years ago that left Sammie hospitalized for two days due to flower/plant poisoning, so I’m afraid of having flowers in the apartment. On rare occasions I’ll treat myself to roses, but other than that, it’s just silk flowers around the kitties.
