Happy Wednesday everyone! Two looks today. One, layered and structured, and the other, cozy and comfy. Both are perfect for autumn!
| Location :: Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh |
The weather in Edinburgh is much colder than NYC. For this trip, I knew coats, scarves, and boots were mandatory. When it comes to boots, I love packing over-the-knee boots. They’re actually very compact (I roll the top down and tuck it in), especially these Dolce Vita over-the-knee boots! Also with high boots, I tend to wear thigh high wool socks underneath so it feels like I’m wearing two layers of pants! It provides a seamless look and extra warmth. Believe it or not, I wore these boots three days in a row! They’re super comfortable and great for daytime and evening. These boots are set on a comfortable block heel with a sleek point-toe silhouette that creates the illusion of a longer frame. I also love these short boots and tall flat boots for travel, and of course, for fall!
About a 10 minute car ride from the city center, there is a beautiful oasis right by the Water of Leith. Dean Village is a delightful contrast to the hustle and bustle of city life.
| Location :: Dean Village, Edinburgh |
Charming, quaint, and surrounded by sounds of water and songs of whispering leaves, Dean Village is like a fairy tale come to life. With coffee in hand and comfy in an oversized sweater and floral embellished flats, I didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. And these Dolce Vita embellished mules matched the area so well! The darling floral patterns of the mules has that Dean Village sweetness with the perfect dose of city toughness from the stud embellishments.
I hope you enjoy the photography and styling! Thank you so much for reading and special thanks to Bloomingdale’s for partnering on this post!Thank you so much for reading!
