Happy Monday everyone from one of my favorite places in NYC! The Farmacy is a charming farmers’ market located in Hell’s Kitchen. With plenty of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, bread and meat options, and a nice selection of flowers and plants, this little gem is a much welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of the city!
I’m embracing two major summer trends today. Fashion, straight leg jeans. Shoes, color pop pumps. And between the two, straight leg jeans are a challenge for me! Searching high and low for a pair that’s cropped but not too high, a light to medium wash, and a distressed yet clean finish, this pair came out on top! Straight leg jeans tend to shorten my frame (given that I’m 5’4″ on a good day!), so I look for ones that are high-waisted and cropped to give a leg-lengthening effect. They’re great for summer with sandals and pumps and they pair well with boots for fall and winter!
Colored pumps! Oh so pretty! A beautiful canary yellow, a deep emerald green, a delicate lilac purple… a pop of color that brightens casual and dressy outfits. Examples: as seen here in black and white with orange pumps and here in a tulle skirt and t-shirt with purple pumps. My next wishlist colored pumps – emerald green! I love rich vibrant green with rose pink outfits. An unexpected yet captivating color combo!
Hope you had a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!
