Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you’re enjoying the long weekend!  A little plaid magic and origami shapes today.

This handkerchief top folds beautifully at the neckline and cascades gracefully after the waistline.  I moment I saw this top, I wanted to continue the origami shapes.  Pairing it with a flare skort (yes, they’re actually shorts!) and white knotted pumps, I love that it creates an almost one-piece dress effect.

And I’m a huge fan of styling shorts and skirts as a layering piece.  Case in point, these Storets skorts!  They’re extremely versatile (and under $50).  They can be worn alone with a cute off-the-shoulder top for summer, under long tops (as seen here) to create a more layered look, with oversized sweaters for fall, and much more.  I can’t wait to re-style them for autumn!

Colin and I walked down 5th Avenue, which we actually don’t do very often.  It’s so busy down at this part of town that we only come here during the holidays to view the store windows and Christmas trees.  But walking through it this time reminds me of how much I love this city.  It was so much fun!  The stores, the park, the people, the cabs… all of it!

I hope you enjoy the styling, location, and photography!  Wishing you a great week ahead!

Thank you so much for reading!
