Happy Valentine’s/Galentine’s! A sort of V-Day special today. More like winter V-Day in shades of pinks and reds.
Usually for V-Day, I always think about dresses (like this beautiful tulle pink Romance Was Born dress!). But lately, it’s just the idea of playing with shades of pinks and reds that reminds me of Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day. The best part, these pieces are super wearable after V-Day. This pink coat with a yellow dress (see related post here), these red pants can be styled with a plaid coat (see example here), and this pink sweater works great with green (see example color theme here).
Continuing the theme of pinks and reds, below are a few of my favorites. I just bought that Banana Republic red blazer, and can’t wait to couple it with these red pants. A pink coat was something that I thought would be hard to wear, but surprisingly has been one of my favorite pieces. It’s so happy and uplifting, and great with a wide range of color pairings (another ASOS pink coat option).
A little poem for you this week…
To all those who are in love,
Those who are looking for love,
Those who have loved and lost,
Those whose love got taken for granted,
Those who are recognizing the importance of self-love,
Happy Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day.
Have a great week everyone! Thank you so much for reading!
