Another fall (but feels like winter) work outfit! A mix of blues balanced by deep crimson reds.
Color blocking is a fun trend that comes back every year. More present in spring/summer styles with hues of orange, yellow, and red. For fall, the tones are deeper. I love this color block coat, because it’s anchored by a fall color and yet feels light with the dash of light blue.
I thought it’d be fun to do a pre-shopping edit for YOU before you have to do your holiday shopping for others. With winter basically here now and coat season among us, I put together a collection of pre-loved designer coats for your viewing pleasure. From Chanel to Chloe to Valentino, all of these coats and outerwear pieces are under $500 (original price up to $thousands). I stalk these brands all of the time on sites like The Real Real, and love sharing great finds when I come across beautiful outerwear pieces (like is Burberry military coat and Sacai Luck chic cape that I got for a steal!).
In addition to pre-loved and vintage coats, one of my favorite ways to spice up cold weather dressing is with fun color blocking. Great to layer with simple neutral outfits and so harmonious when matched with similar hue stories. For this look, I kept the color palette to blues and burgundies. But alone, I’ve worn this coat casually with jeans and a black v-neck sweater, and it’s so easy to dress up. A tailored suit or lace dress complements it perfectly. With this fun trend, I included some of my favorite coats and sweaters below.
